Catch a cold while traveling and can’t visit your doctor? Too sick to leave your house? See a doctor anytime, anywhere with Teladoc Health. You can talk with a doctor or dermatologist by phone, video or the Teladoc Health app. You’ll get the care you need for less than the cost of an office visit. Nutritionists, therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists are available too.

Who’s eligible

Employees, spouses and dependents enrolled in the Simplot Medical Plan can use Teladoc. Each adult must create their own account, and children under age 18 may be added to their parent’s account.

How it works

Teladoc lets you connect with a doctor, therapist, specialist or dietitian by phone, video, or app. You can receive virtual care for:

General medical. Get 24/7 care from board-certified doctors for nonemergency conditions like cold and flu, sinus infections, allergies and more.
Primary care. Consult with a primary care provider for routine checkups, ongoing wellness needs and referrals.
Pediatrics. Connect with a pediatrician 24/7 for non-emergency conditions like cold and flu, allergies, pink eye, stomachache and more.
Mental health. Schedule a visit with a therapist or psychiatrist, seven days a week, for support with depression, anxiety, stress, not feeling like yourself, etc.
Dermatology. Upload photos of your skin condition online or on the app and a dermatologist will send a custom treatment plan within 24 hours. They can treat acne, eczema, psoriasis and more.
Nutrition. Work with a registered dietitian to manage your weight or a health condition like diabetes or high blood pressure.

Get started with Teladoc

Register via teladoc.com, the Teladoc Health app or by phone at 800‑TELADOC (registration code: SIMPLOT).
Provide your name as listed in My Simplot and/or as listed on your Blue Cross of Idaho medical card.
Complete or update a brief medical history.
Schedule a visit. You can request a visit on demand (general medical only) or schedule an appointment when convenient.
