Emotional Well-Being
We recognize taking steps to improve or maintain your emotional health is essential for your self-care. That is why Simplot offers several ways to get support when you need it.
Mental Health Program
The Mental Health Program is here to help you and members of your household with all life’s challenges. Whether you’re looking for someone to talk to, legal assistance, financial guidance, career support or family care referrals, the Mental Health Program is ready to help, 24/7. It offers 10 confidential therapy sessions and 10 coaching sessions at no cost to you. You can get help virtually, in person, and browse the resources available online.

Teladoc Health Virtual Visits
If you’re enrolled in the Simplot Medical Program, you can get confidential support for your mental and emotional well-being through Teladoc virtual visits. Teladoc’s board-certified psychiatrists, psychologists and licensed therapists can help with anxiety, depression, grief, family difficulties, women’s health and more. They’re available seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time, by phone or video.
Simplot Medical Plans
If you’re enrolled in the Simplot Medical Program through Blue Cross of Idaho (BCI), you have access to face-to-face or online behavioral health visits. Simply search members.bcidaho.com for an in‑person provider in the BCI network.
Calm
Calm is an app-based mental fitness program that supplies you with tools to find more calm and mindfulness in your everyday life. All employees are eligible to use the Calm app subscription at no cost. You can even share subscriptions with your family.
Know what to do when you need help now
We often don’t like to talk about suicide, domestic abuse or substance abuse because they’re uncomfortable topics. If you or someone you know is in danger, call 911, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-8255, or visit 988lifeline.org immediately. You can also contact the Crisis Text Line when you text HOME to 741741.
