What you need to know

If you’re enrolled in the Simplot Medical Program, you have access to even more support and resources through Blue Cross of Idaho (BCI). BCI offers a wide range of web-based tools to help you learn more about the Medical, Dental and Vision Programs and make healthier choices. You can find in-network providers, view your claims history, search for prescription drugs, view plan information such as who’s covered and what your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum is for the year, and more.

Who’s eligible

If you’re enrolled in the Simplot Medical Program through BCI you may be eligible to use the resources and programs through BCI. If you’re eligible, certain covered family members may also be eligible to participate.

Eligible family members

• Legal spouse
• Children under age 26, including:
– Biological and step children
– Adopted children or children placed for adoption
– Foster children or children of whom you have legal guardianship
– Adult children, until they reach the end of the month of their 26th birthday
• Your or your spouse’s child of any age who becomes disabled while the child is enrolled in the plan and is dependent on you

You will need to provide supporting documentation, such as a marriage or birth certificate, for your spouse and/or any family members you enroll within 75 days from the date of your event.

You have a variety of resources to choose from so you can get the care and support you need.

Care management

If you and your family are dealing with complex health conditions, need assistance accessing care or need help coping with an unexpected health setback, you can access care management at no additional cost. Specialty-trained registered nurses, licensed social workers and board-certified physicians can work with you to ensure you get the care you need, develop an individualized care plan and empower you to take charge of your health care.

Find Care

Be in control of your health care with Find Care. You can search the network of medical, dental, behavioral, mental, and other specialists to find a provider. Find Care is also a cost transparency tool that lets you compare costs of providers, facilities and services before you purchase care or prescriptions.

Go to members.bcidaho.com and log in (or register), select Find Care, then select Find doctor to start your search.

Blue365

Save money and live healthier with Blue365. It gives you exclusive access to health and wellness deals and discounts related to:

There’s no cost to join. All you need to do is register. Here’s how:

Log in to members.bcidaho.com (or register if you haven’t already).
Select Health & Wellbeing.
Select Visit Blue365.
On the Blue365 website, click Join to register. You will need to have your Blue Cross of Idaho member ID card handy.

Once you’re registered and logged in, you can start browsing deals by selecting categories in the top navigation.

Get started

You can take advantage of these resources and more once you register on the Blue Cross of Idaho website. How to register:

Visit members.bcidaho.com.
Select Register from the menu at the top of the page.
You will need to enter:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Create a username and password
- Create three security questions with answers only you know to help identify you if you lose your password
