What you need to know
Medical benefits are administered by Kaiser. You don’t have to meet a deductible for specific services. The Kaiser plan includes more than just medical and prescription drug coverage — it also includes dental and vision coverage.
Who’s eligible
Most employees in Kona and Maui are eligible to participate in the Hawaii Kaiser HMO. If you’re eligible, you can also enroll certain family members.

Top tip
The Hawaii Kaiser HMO only covers out-of-network care in an emergency. Before receiving care, make sure your provider is in-network or explore your options for care when you’re away from home.
